Another one was the renters who welded in a roll cage, race the car for the weekend, then cut the cage out before returning the car. Lifting the carpet in the right place will reveal the scars.

Yep, visibility was down to 6 mi in smoke/haze but it's improved now that a little wind has picked up. There are two BAe 146s, the P2V, an MD87, and rumors that a DC10 will be here as well.

well, if you don't look very close, and perhaps with a tilted head, the old guy, a 2002 Suburban LT, bought new in October of ' 02 with 25 miles, doesn't look too bad for having endured over 186 K miles

made my way out to the Kansas National Guard Museum located at Forbes Field just south of Topeka

it is just east of highway 75 and there is no charge and free parking, you can walk up to the exhibits but please do not touch

The Equinox again, this time from the bridge transiting through the St. Lawrence Seaway.

Original Pokeman car. Got to talk to the woman owner, she told us she won the car through a gift to the Starlight Children's Foundation. The car was auction on E-Bay, she was the winning bid. What a great story.
