Nice shot. Looks like a stretch-version 737 - maybe a replacement for the 757?

It is the latest version of the 737, the Max 8, 9, and 10. It will be what Boeing will have to replace older aircraft but I don;t think it really replaces the 757.

Interesting name for a ship I hope Big Roll is not what the ship does in heavy seas else I wouldn't want to sail on it

The Finnish Swedish 1A Ice Class MC-Class vessels are explicitly designed for the marine transportation of major modules and equipment for large energy projects both on and offshore and can deliver in the most remote and inaccessible areas on the planet.

I'm sure the vessel is quite well designed for the purpose it was built.

Early in my career I was engineer on an Offshore Supply/Diving Support vessel called the Balder Baffin, though smaller than the BIGROLL BAFFIN was built as a Pipe and large cargo carrier for the East Coast of Canada and the North Sea. The Balder Baffin also looked very similar to the BIGROLL Baffin.with a large deck house forward and a large open deck with high bulwarks aft. As a result when carrying fuel, water & cement in tanks inside the hull and no large deck cargo the ship would roll and right itself very quickly in a heavy sea which was more uncomfortable, difficult to move around on and sickening than a ship with a more gentle roll characteristic. I've seen very seasoned seafarers who spent many years as fishermen in the North Atlantic get deathly seasick on the Balder Baffin because they couldn't get used to the rapid rolling.

this Kansas City zoo tram might be hard to see in " white out " conditions

[ Kansas City has a very nice zoo but you should really buy their transportation passes: Sky ride, tram, train and/or boat. It is well spread out )

The 737 Max is the latest in the 727/737 line of commercial airliners built by Boeing. It is the most popular commercial airliner built by currently built by Boeing. Demand is high, and production has ramped up significantly. Presently nearly 3 planes a day roll out the factory doors at the Renton, Washington factory.

Irish airline Ryan Air is one carrier that has a Boeing 737 only fleet.

The Canadian Owned airline Westjet, prior to it's expansion as a regional air line with the Bombardier Q400 and the addition of transatlantic flights with the Boeing 767-300. also exclusively flew and continues to fly the 737 600 700 & 800 on most it's routes within North America and the Caribbean.

Another Canadian Airline Canadian North also exclusively flies the combination Passenger/Freight version of the Boeing 737-300 all over the remote regions of the Arctic in some of the toughest conditions imaginable off frozen dirt runways and in extreme cold. This type of service goes a long way to demonstrate how tough the Boeing 737 really is.

I heard a funny story about people in a little town through which a freight train barreled in the middle of every night, blowing its horn before the main road crossing. The noise alarmed new residents, but they were few, and everyone else was used to the train horn and slept right through it. Then, one time there was a railroad strike, stopping all traffic on that line. The first night of the strike, when the train horn should have blown, but didn't, several residents of the town were suddenly jarred awake by the unexpected silence.
