On Friday night I went to the local drag strip. I'd been intending to do so for a long time. While I was primarily scouting out angles and getting used to the flow of action, I did manage to get a few good shots.

I will definitely go back, especially for the night time runs.

It is a "kit car", and actually has a Chevrolet engine, not a Ford 427.

Looks nice. I like the exhaust.



The wheels are cool.



Still, Ford engines don't cost any more than Chevy engines.

Just sayin'.

Were you South of the 49th parallel or North? If North it's us, and going to metallurgical use.
