Nice looking old Fire truck
Too bad it couldn't be restored it would be a big attraction at parades & shows
A Fire Department I once belonged to had a similar truck on a 1935 Ford Chassis and it was a real show piece for the department
It would be a fun idea, but I think it would probably put a big dent in their budget - being a town of around 2,000.

Cross posted from the Yachts, Dinghies, Sailboats thread.

This is an update on the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum 2+ year sailing ship Dove reproduction project. They have made some progress since I was there 2 months ago. Beginning to look like a boat.

Can't tell you how many nights I spent in the harbor there years back. Need to get back and see what's changed or stayed the same.

From an expedition with a friend to check out an Alfa Montreal, which he ultimately did purchase. They were actually rolling backwards out the driveway when I snapped this. Grabbed what I could while I could, since the trip wasn't really about me taking pictures.

They're pretty neat. Nice little 4 cam V8 that I think is based of what was in the Tipo 33. Sounds great!

Well now you can buy him a beer and he can let you take pictures of it in special settings.
