Boeing 777-300ER. Awesome airplanes.

One I may have had hands on during the build too.

My step-dad's son piloted those planes (some version of the 777) across the Pacific for many years. Loved them. Now he's flying 787s.

Sweet - I think I've boarded one of these before (KLM from Amsterdam to NY) - they're really nice, especially for the economy class seats.

Nice catch. The weedy yard and overturned trash can are nice touches. I wonder if it's supposed to be rusty (rat rod), or just an unfinished project. I see you took the picture a few years ago. Did they make any progress since then?

Thanks for noticing . I just happened to be driving by and jumped out of my car for the shot. There wasn't much if any progress on the bug over the next couple years, and I'm not living in the area anymore, so its status these days is unknown...

I had been documenting the progress on the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's Dove replica construction project in this thread until the "Plague" quarantine began. They finally re-opened the facility to the public in time for the 4th of July however they now have the boatshop and the construction yard roped off. I was able to get a few shots of the progress from a distance. They have made a lot of progress on the stern, the bow is coming along, and will soon start cleaning up the frames in preparation for the planking process. I hope to be able to get permission to get access to the yard area so I can get some detailed shots. In the mean time:
