Lead locomotive #301 is a bit identity confused. Now hauling coal and other freight for the Buffalo & Pittsburgh RR, her colors are from original owner, Quebec, North Shore & Labrador, QNS&L The logo was painted over with WCOR for Wellsboro & Corning.

That’s OK, I have a Deere key. They are all the same, unless specifically requested to not be the standard key by the original buyer.

I don’t know about lawn and garden equipment, but all construction equipment is the same.

This is true for all off road construction equipment, Deere, Caterpillar, Case, etc. I learned about it when I was a mechanic at the electric utility. When they bought backhoes, excavators, bulldozers it was done on a public works contract, and whichever company won the bid supplied the equipment. It would all show up ove a day or two, then we would outfit the machinery. Each mechanic would grab a key and put it on a ring with other work related keys. If you got sent into the field to do repairs, you didn’t have to stop by the keyboard for a key like you did with the utility trucks.
