Not the best to start with, sorry.
These are the San Francisco fireworks, I was about 8 miles away using 55-300 and 1.7xTC.
I was drunk as well.

I could not imagine you were drunk looking at these shots Gary

I chose not to take my camera this year because I knew the boat would be dodgey as all hell. And it was. It was pissing down with rain and a LOT of lightning. And, I'll admit, I was quite, very drunk so photo opportunites were very minimal.
