Wow - awesome.
Thanks Ed - I just happened to be in the right place at the right time .
How are you liking the Tak 200/4? I came close to acquiring one awhile back.

You're welcome - I love when that happens to me as well

The Tak 200/4 is really nice. I need to get a hood as it gives green and purple fringing wide open. Also, I have to get used to the FL... work in progress!

It's offers great bang for the buck - it's usually surprisingly affordable! I also struggle with longer FLs - my longest prime is my Super Tak 105, and I sometimes struggle with it. But I enjoy the challenge, and the results can be rewarding. I look forward to seeing what you can do with the Tak 200!

It was very affordable - together with some Asahi extension tubes and a Series 1 35-85/2.8 (a nice surprise for me, many do not like the lens), it came up under $40 with shipping.

Mind you it has a small bent on the filter thread - prevents the metal hood to be attached (I took the hood for my K 135/2.5) - Solution = I got a slip-on Pentax hood on the bay for the super tak.

I was going to get a tak 105/2.8 once, but I have the soligor 105/2.8 preset which yields great results for me. the 105 I can easily adapt to; the 200 FL is a bit more challenging.
