I'm loving this one. Beautiful tones. I'm a fan of images of waterways with vegetation taking over. The monochrome shot is great for composition and light alone, but I also find myself wondering how it would have looked on colour film.

I must now add a bridge of my own:


K10D, DA 18-55 (35mm)

This shot had precious little colour in the first place; but its removal really seems to strengthen the image, somehow purifying it.

The Great Belt Bridge in Denmark disappearing into the rain.

For a short period this was the longest suspension bridge in the world - then a Japanese bridge took the #1 spot!
