McKillops Bridge over the Snowy River in a remote area of East Gippsland, Victoria. This bridge was opened in 1935. It replaced a bridge that was built in 1933, which was washed away in a huge flood in January 1934, just before its official opening. Materials salvaged from the original bridge were used in the construction of the replacement one, which was built 15 feet (about 5m) higher than the original.

We live a couple of blocks to the right, near the end of the Burrard St bridge.

...and here's a bridge, and a few footbridges, in Ottawa.

Ah yes, the locks down by the Chateau Laurier; a 10 minute walk from where I work. IN the summer that is part of my lunchtime walk loop.

Same area from a different angle; you were stand up on that bridge way up there

It is amazing how a different POV or angle can make such a big difference in the composition of the scene captured. Your photo is superb, very well done.

Our peak Fall colors were about 2 weeks ago when these were taken - most of the trees have lost their leaves by now. I was feeling retro and lazy that day, so I grabbed an old Canon Powershot that fits in my pocket
