I thought it looked familiar! I've been across that bridge many times.

Something a little different.

The Red Bridge Park has a tradition of people putting padlocks on the bridge to signify their devotion and love to each other. It's been going on for decades, so I've been told.

Here is a small segment of the locks you can see on the bridge.

That is a tradition in many parts of the world. I read sometime back that one place in France the custom had become such a problem that the local authorities had to remove the locks and enact a local ordinance prohibiting the placement of locks. Apparently it was presenting a risk of damage to the bridge, I think because of the added weight from the locks.

This bridge is "retired" and they've made it part of a park along the waterway it spans.

I'm not certain how far back this tradition goes, but I was told it didn't start until they moved the traffic way.

Good one. I heard recently that a bridge somewhere was in the danger of collapsing due to the sheer weight of the locks.
