Bridge built by a mountain biking club. Dahlia was having fun running to M on one side, then running back to me on the other, provided each us us gave her a treat when she arrived.

Two images of a small but long bridge in far northern Norway very near the Russian border, If you look closely along the horizon a little to the right of the bridge tower at the left you can see a tiny structure sticking up. That's a Russian watch tower. It's difficult to separate the bridge from the background, especially in the first image. Taken from a tour bus on the go across an adjacent bridge.The bridge serves a tiny Norwegian community across the river.

Didn't know they were replacing that one. No choice given the location, but looks like one of the most uncharacteristic BRP bridges will be replaced by one even more out of sync with the usual style. The current one does at least have a certain elegance.

Cannot remember where this boardwalk and foot bridge are located, but in a nature preserve somewhere in New England. SCAN

I think the columns on the original will interfere with the widening project on I-26 necessitating a new bridge!
