Probably one of the most famous bridges in the world, the Rialto Bridge, Venice.

Aye and this was Venice at one of the quieter times of year, i wouldn't want to be there in full on season.

A slightly more unusual view of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence Italy, it was the all the window shutters that caught my eye.

Great colors! I love the room supports on the bridge edges. Don't they know these pieces come out over time? Makes you wonder about their building codes!

The Tridge at Midland, Michigan, has three spans and is for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Nice shot! The shutters really are eye-catching. I've often wondered why, but here in N. America shutters survive only as vestigial ornaments, fixed in the open position. It would be great to be able to block the sun in front of an open window on a hot summer's day.
