Nice pics Jeff, I've been across that bridge a couple times, impressive size. I keep thinking of Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs walking up the cable to change a light bulb and painting deep down in the bowels of the piers.
I remember that episode.. Somewhere on my other machine I have pictures that show how good that FA50 / K10d really was. Good enough to catch details of the globes on the lights, through the windshield of a moving vehicle.

The day I took those pictures I was still driving Test vehicles for Roush. I had the assignment of doing 700 miles. A trip from Livonia, Mi, to Toledo, Ohio, and then all the way up and across the bridge and back.... 700 miles. Half of it in a blinding AM snowstorm. Never again.. Got some good pictures out of it though..

This is an abandoned trestle on a long defunct railroad along U.S. 19 south of Perry, Florida. It last was used ~ 1983. The tracks were pulled up in the late 90s. It was intended to be a mainline for the west coast, but never really caught on. This trestle is relatively old. It may become part of the rails to trails thing.
