Two for one offer

The new Queensferry Crossing behind the older Forth Road Bridge at first light:

The nice thing about this time of year is not having to be up so early to catch the sunrise, shame it's so cold though

Thanks for looking,

Ralph

Trestle bridge on the old South Gippsland rail line (Victoria, Australia), over Stockyard Creek, near Foster. The bridge was built from local eucalypts. This part of the line was opened in 1892. Passenger services ended in 1981, and the line was closed completely in 1992. The line (from Leongatha onwards) is now a "rail trail" (walking and cycle track), although the trail now goes over a small new bridge beside the old one. K-3 + DFA 100 WR.

An expensive footbridge

Following the opening of the new Queensferry Crossing the old Forth Road Bridge was closed to all vehicles making it a very over-engineered foot and cycle bridge, it was actually slightly eerie with the lack of traffic.

K20D and DA 50 f1.8

Thanks for looking,

Wow. Maybe they could organize some kind of bicycle/running events there. Probably cheaper to just let the bridge stand vs. tearing it down....
