Grat collection of bridges everyone! Jmschrei, when you step on that techno bridge can you select year and location where you end up at the other side?
Well you know in a sense you can, on one side are some of the oldest residential buildings in the city, behind me all sorts of space age condo towers!

Part of our new rapid rail transit system -called Gautrain- for Gauteng, the Province in which both Johannesburg and Pretoria is situated. This is part of the Pretoria leg.

The middle one has some very nice elements to the composition. Great sweeping arches and leading lines.

Thank you Dave.
Altopiet- I have the constitutional court behind me (for our non-South African friends, the e-toll system was due to be implemented by 1 May, but having been heavily opposed, taken to court, with an application for an urgent interdict, which was granted, the e-tolling fracas has now been postphoned for a few months). No way i'm registering Alopiet. I'd rather travel via the Karoo to get to Pretoria

Sunset over the Mississippi River Bridge at Vicksburg Saturday. Old one on right is the one I rode across as a kid. Used my SMC Pentax M 28mm for this one.

Nice sunset, Pete. I think I've taken this same shot during daylight hours. Was this at the Vicksburg Visitor Center off I-20? It always amazes me to see the drastic change of geography after crossing the bridge when coming from Louisiana. (Flat farmland to hilly pine woods)

Yep, that's where it was. Right behind the visitor center. I need to go there one day and take a walk along the old bridge, they have it open as a foot traffic only tourist attraction these days, but I've never done it. Some cool things in that area, I live about 2 hours away in NE Louisiana. I've toured the Civil War battleground a couple of times, (yes, I took a camera) got some pretty decent shots of some of the older buildings in the downtown section but have never been to the petrified forest about 45 minutes east of Vicksburg yet, really want to do that sometime. This was actually my first time to try and get some shots of the bridges after probably 25-30 trips over the new one...I stop at the visitor center almost every time...

Little trip down the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia, naturally took the camera, tried a little pano using a 77mm in portrait. This was London Bridge, but it it literally did fall down back in 1994. Now they call it London Arch!
