Thanks, I think the combination of soft light and not too uniformely grey sky is just about right.

During the week of Sept 22, we received a record amount of rainfall - over 10 inches! This caused quite a bit of flooding at nearby Bear Creek, with the levels reaching over 12 feet. Taken with a Canon p&s [xposted]:

Excellent series of photos, certainly must be a well built structure to withstand that kind of force. Nice work on those images.
