Built in 1900 to facilitate carriage of the Governor General from Rideau Hall to the Houses of Parliament. The bridge consists of four spans crossing the Rideau River, touching two small islands. In this view at sunrise, we see three of the spans looking towards the neighbourhood of New Edinburgh. It's a quiet, peaceful location with minimal vehicular traffic.

I'd say here in Nova Scotia especially in Cape Breton where Gaelic is still spoken. I guess there are more than a few around that are able to properly pronounce the name of the bridge in Gaelic

Thank you. At some point in the near future I hope to do similar with the bridge over the Cromarty Firth to the south which has a distinct curve
