Nicely done!

Nice pictures. I especially like the second one because of the way it is partially framed by the trees.

Little Kimble

1. Strong autumn sunlight illuminates the west end of All Saints Church, Little Kimble, Buckinghamshire.
2. The church interior - natural window-light augmented by the on-camera fill-flash.

Images captured with a hand-held Pentax KP + HD DA 21mm Limited lens; camera JPEGs with adjustments made in PaintShop Pro.

Is that church about 11th-12th century?

Has architectural and construction features like St Marys, Cogges, which is late 11th early 12th century, and not very far away.

Like many of the churches in the surrounding areas, it is likely to be of the 12th Century, with additions and extensions during the 13th and 14th Centuries.

Great Kimble

A short walk away from Little Kimble is St.Nicholas Church, Great Kimble.

1. The church tower, taken from the back of the churchyard.
2. The altar and stained glass, in window light plus on-camera fill-flash.

Hand-held Pentax KP + HD DA 21mm Limited lens; adjustments in PaintShop Pro.

Nice shots. Especially like the stained glass. As a child of little knowledge and faith, instead of paying attention to the sermon I would stare at the stained glass of our church because it captivated me.
