I've posted other images of the one-room chapel built in 1897 for a long-gone community on Johnson Mesa, New Mexico. It's still in use, though.

A Hertfordshire church from the Victorian period photographed at midday a few weeks ago in the natural light from the windows. Hand-held Pentax KP and DA 18-135 zoom lens. Camera JPEG with some adjustments in PaintShop Pro.

Looking across the town bulletin board and town library to the only church in Halifax, VT. Separate doors for males/females may indicate the building served as the town's school when first built.

Icelandic church. Easy to tell why the town was established on the near rather than the far side of the inlet.

St Marys Star of the Sea Church, Hoopers Island, MD

The first Catholic Church in Dorchester County, known as Tubman's Chapel, was built in 1767. The current St Marys Star of the Sea Church, located south of the original chapel, was built between 1872-1874, replacing the chapel.

Three churches in Belfast. I probably posted these images years ago, but when the external hard drive crashed and the image files had to be recovered by an expert, the record of PP work was lost = all the images files went back to OOC status.
