This is the Abbey Church in Kilwinning,in Ayrshire, its in a beautiful spot in the grounds of the ruined Kilwinning Abbey which has links to the early Celtic Church dating back to the 7th century. I was trying out HDR for the 1st time and was quite pleased with the result

Long dead, but unearthed from the catacombs of PF.com: Post your Church images thread. Nice to post yours too?

Here an overview of the interior of the cathedral in Saluzzo, Piemonte, Italy

Beautiful! Typical P67! Got similar shots (of different objects) with Fuji Provia 100!

There's something about the depth and intensity of later colour film that digital seldom achieves - added to that is the reduced temptation to fiddle with the result digitally - I do miss using film - and I've still got the cameras, awaiting a little spare cash for film and developing costs

I have still lying around, and am still shooting! Developing is not too expensive over here, just in our small village...

probably more to do with my finances than actual cost - I think film + developing worked out about GBP1 per shot when I last used the camera about 7-8 years ago

Byzantine mosaic in a church on the edge of Istanbul. The interior is coated, virtually every interior surface, with mosaics.

Kolner Dom taken with Sony NEX6 and Pentax-M 50/1.4 by Jason Doss, on Flickr

If you have a Pentax ME Super, check the manual. I was shocked when I saw a photo in there almost exactly the same as this.
