Having travelled to Australia a number of times, I was informed about the salties, the snakes, jellyfish, spiders, sharks, stonefish, and even cantankerous 'roos. But I had to look this one up -- watermelon-sized cones dropping from the bunya pine. Yikes!

Apart from all that, it's a great part of the world. And, having retired, I do miss working with my Aussie associates.

OK, Mr Google found it pretty easily, with a question "large falling cones"
The first article found in Google was in regard to Warragul in Victoria, less than 30 minutes from my home town.
The sign was actually in Bright in Victoria in the high country just an hour from my present and last home.
