Mushroom picking not allowed! Saw this sign while running in the hills of Lunigiana, northern Tuscany, Italy. Picking the excellent porcini is reserved for the locals.

nah, it's political grafitti - from 1970 or so. It probably originally said (translated) "USA out of Vietnam".

The sign is attached to a building that is part of a housing estate (so several towers with flats) and I guess the policy is to not allow dogs to be kept around that area. There's like a common playground area and restaurants/shops on the ground level inside and around the buildings.
