The door of a truck-restaurant. On Molokai in particular, the vast majority of cooked food was dispensed from permanently parked trucks = cheap, low maintenance and low taxes. Also, all the food is take-away served in disposable containers and supplied with disposable utensils, so no dishes or silverware to wash, and no problem with covid rules for indoor dining. There were parking areas allotted to these food service vehicles, some with 15 or so each offering a particular sort of cuisine. I'm also struck by this habit or culture of bringing along stickers for pasting onto signs or other flat surfaces. I find the behavior less obnoxious that spray-paint graffiti and vandalism, and sometimes a sticker is amusing. This food-service truck welcomed them.
