Explanation: "Q" = qualified = the dog did the course as required, obstacles and time. The rules are complex: at novice levels a dog is allowed to knock down a few bars, but not at higher levels. Sometimes penalty points are added if the dog takes longer that the required time, and if the penalty points are not over a certain value, the dog still "qualifies," but at higher levels, the dog must complete the course in the specified time, otherwise it's an "NQ" = not qualified. Most people who do agility are looking to get a "Q" because that is what advances a dog up to more difficult levels. Coming in first-second-third is mostly regarded as an incidental bonus. It's "how is my dog doing" not "i want to beat the other dogs." A dog always gets a ribbon for a "Q" plus potentially a separate blue-red-white ribbon for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in its group for that particular run.

As I explained somewhere above, the jump bar height is determined by shoulder height of the dog determined the first time it competes. Our Tralee started as a 12-inch dog, but when she became a veteran (= six years old) Margery took the option of moving her to eight inches, as she had started taking down too many bars.

Parking for (moto)bikes only.
I don’t see a motor on that bicycle.

Better impound it.

Even if ticks did not transmit several unpleasant diseases, their bites, if they get deep in the skin, are extremely irritating and least for me can take six weeks or more to heal completely.

I just threaten to bite them back, and they run away.

Thank you for the explanation!

Photos taken in several places in Ontario. Note how the province's Scottish heritage has left its mark even on the names of Chinese restaurants (Skye Dragon in Perth). Alas, to judge by the notices describing a future 'development', it seems as if the Blue Goose's days are numbered.

"Chinook Wind" would be the name of a boat on a very long journey, probably around the world. One of many thousands of memorial "graffiti" paintings in the Azores.
