Two dog-lover vanity plates. Some purists may take offense at the spelling of "Papillons," but it is surely no worse that "GR8" or even "MUTZ."

Kangaroos and Wombats have been problematic for drivers for years, but deer (not native fauna by any means; I think imported from NZ. Heaven knows where they got them!) are becoming more of a nuisance lately.

That'd make a change as we have a bunch of imports from you that cause the odd issue....

Deer in NZ come from all over the world, courtesy mainly of the acclimitisation societies of the early 1900's; UK, Europe, Japan, India and North America for our deer (Sambar, Red, Sika, Rusa, Fallow, Whitetail), Wapiti, Chamois and Tahr. Hell, they even tried Moose.

Well, that's humans for you. This ecosystem has been puttering along on it's own for 60 million years. We can make it better.

Don't you love all the great craft breweries making good beer these days? (All of us except Walt!) There are now over 30 in the Vancouver area.

...and Ice Cream too!

Cape Kiwanda? I've been wanting to drive down the Oregon coast. I must make sure to stop in for the Ale

I admit there was a time in my life when I was young and foolish and more concerned with quantity rather than quality. But with age comes wisdom.

Yep. Cape Kiwanda. Pelican also makes a Kiwanda Cream Ale that's pretty tasty too. You won't be disappointed if you find the time to stop by Pelican Brewery. A nice menu to go with the refreshments too. They now have three locations. Pacific City, Cannon Beach, and Tillamook.
