I think this event [ US Airways Flight 1549 - Wikipedia ] started a signage trend?

That is a beautiful photograph! I tell you what, only a Jeep Wrangler would be able to make that tire track so close to that sign without hitting it! Or a motorbike...

Whatever it was, I bet it kicked up lots of dust while laying that track.

I took it while riding my bike through dusty, rural southeast Mesa. I assume it's like the land version of a "no wake zone", but why don't they just say "slow"?

?? Well, the sign says "scenic point". But I've never actually seen any "scenic point" all the times I've looked for it!

There's a road in Namibia, once dirt but now paved because they discovered that the rare, scattered trees were dying because of road dust coating their leaves.

Well there are two signs on the post.

We only see one side of one sign

What does the other sign have on it?

Does it also direct people to that mysterious scenic point?

Well, the other sign says, "nothing to see here". I'm thinking some mischievous person rotated the sign just to throw people off.
