Found this at the harbour of Roskilde where the Viking Ship Museum is placed.
Written in danish it says: "It has always been a good idea to wear a helmet"

The wise one here will know or figure out, that it's a message about wearing a helmet when cycling - and not only because you are a viking !

I've photographed signs of this type in several places. This one, photographed from two sides, is on a high point ("mountain" if you prefer) overlooking Bergen, Norway. BTW: For anyone not aware: "Island" = Iceland and "Nordkapp" is the northern most point of Europe. We came within sight of it, but we had elected an excursion to a seabird sanctuary rather than a tour to Nordkapp.

Here in MessyChewBits a gallon of regular is a few cents above or below $5 USD.

Another sign with directions to places this way and that, but more provincial in its scope.. All of them seem to be right places to go.

An assertively Hollywood/John Wayne themed restaurant, trying ever so hard to be a place for "real men." The big horns flanking the entry strike me as more rhino-like than those of a big-horn steer .

We were only in Copenhagen and Denmark for a very few days. We enjoyed it although I was beset by some variant of Covid so my energy level was down and the threshold for fatigue was very low. Most of our time in Scandinavia was spent in Norway on the ferry that goes up the coast to Kirkenes, with expeditions on shore and inland at selected places.
