You have some excellent creepy crawlies there Photolady! Ours are mostly grey and brown. I need to get out to the desert and see if I find some interesting reptiles.

Aruba Island Rattlesnake

From the zoo's website:
"The Aruba Island rattlesnake is one of the rarest rattlesnakes in the world. The habitat remaining on Aruba Island is threatened by logging, agriculture, and development. The snakes are also captured for the pet trade and hunted for their rattles. Conservation efforts are underway to protect the species and its habitat.

From a recent zoo visit. It's always a challenge for me trying to get a good image through some of the thick glass enclosures, but I was pleased with how this one turned out.
