Yesterday I learnt that bearded dragons have two very different defensive strategies

Option 1 - puff yourself up, open your mouth and lunge aggressively at the threat



Option 2 - stay still and wait for the threat to go away

They are widely kept as pets so it is always cool to see wild ones in their natural environment

A couple of snakes from the Yucatan...Mayan Riviera. Can anyone identify them? I caught the guy in the tree capturing and eating something...cool

the top one I think is a tropical rat snake

and the bottom one perhaps a Speckled Racer
