Sorry I took it with Leica 8.2 and not a Pentax....I change up...The thing is, I love the rendition of the CCD sensor so much, particularly for monochrome photos. does anyone in the group know whether the Pentax 10/10D had a CCD sensor in it also? That would make me consider selling the K-S2 and pick up one of them in good condition.

Yes, the K10D has a CCD sensor. It was the last model with that sensor. There is a devoted user group over here: The K10D Club! - PentaxForums.com

I have one or two that were salvaged (and when my dad goes I am sure more will appear. this is my favourite of my Grandad ads a young medical student in Manitoba
