@aaacb re post 20732 - i like the way you have put those bricks on a slight angle - I would not have thought to do that bnut would have tried getting everything plumb which would not be as dynamic.The image above is very minimalist - I like that too.

Thanks It's a building on the Harvard campus, and it's quite interesting architecture. This is regular orientation, the bricks are layered slightly offset. At certain times of the day, the shadows look interesting, the vertical shadow is from a doorway.

The way it is growing over the large boulder reminds me of photos of Ankor Wat. Pururi trees are hard woods and initially quite fast growing but as they mature they self buttress and add more root systems. So it would be in the 200 plus year scale. These trees are located in a place that has never been cut or burned over and are self seeded so very hard to gauge an age. More images in the same series poted below.



Bad case of pareidolia in that tree trunk...
