Using Monochrome conversion brings the detail out of the landscape, but also makes it a bit abstract
Great textures in that landscape Rob, could almost be a crumpled towel - or any number of imaginations...

Wonderful contrast betwenn the foggy trees and the crisp grass (which is a forest unto itself)...

She is. She's a natural b&w--a shadow, mostly gray tones, unlike her daughter:

Thanks, it's just chainlink fencing covering a footbridge. It used to be uncovered a few years ago. The guy actually saw me shooting when he was farther back so I guess he helped me out by burying his head into his phone

Hmmm... not sure if you're referring to my reaction to Rob's image (as per my post you quote), or if that was a misquote and the reference is actually to my own image from lockdown? If the first, I am confused by the cabin fever statement - or am I missing something? Not that it's vitally important though.
Sorry not to reply sooner. I was commenting on Rob's photo--it's the kind of off-the-wall photo I post somewhere around the first week of February when I'm desperate to see a green leaf or a bug or a bird who hasn't told me its life story 20 times.
