Looking in my "Geologic Wonders and Curiosities of Missouri" book, there are 47 of these "Shut-Ins" features listed. As I look at the list, I have been to about 6 of them, but don't have modern photos for most of them. I may have to work on that! Of course many of them will require access on private property.
Thanks for the info! The only time I was in SE MO was when the timing chain on my car broke as I was entering Poplar Bluff. Got to spend a couple of days at the repair shop. I had my bicycle, so I blew time cruising around the streets. Didn't know of the parks or rivers around this region.
