My Single in April shot from yesterday. On our way to visit my parents for Easter dinner we stopped for a break and I happened to catch this image of my kids which shows their very different characters.
Wow-pretty girl! Put down the cam-pick up the shotgun...

The Continental Hotel in Saigon Vietnam.

For those of you who loved the movie The Quiet American, the hotel was the home to Briton Graham Greene, the author of the movie.

My Maine Coon cat Hawkeye with my latest €12 acquisition (Pentacon 4 200).
The dealer sold it to me, because of "fog and fingerprints" in the lens…

I gave it a professional cleanup and tested it then. Fully open aperture - handheld.

Good perspective and selective distribution of light Nesster. I was dipping my camera in the water when I took this shot of the remains of a coastal defense in what now is the larges fresh water lake in my country but once was a sea.

Joerg, I meant to compliment you on your cat - that's a great pic!
Remco - you dipped your camera in the water! What camera?!!

I made that image with a 1936 6x9 folding camera, a Hapo 10 made by Balda, with an uncoated triplet lens.

A K-5 and only the battery grip got wet a bit. And I was in waders (flyfishing) so I stayed dry. It's a sturdy camera and I didn't expect any problems with a bit of water. It's a one of the reasons I chose Pentax! I googled your Hapo and that's a seriously nice piece of workmanship!

Hall of Justice? #2

Vivitar 28/2.8 @ f/5.6

Would have loved a telephoto for this shot. A crow landed on the cupola just prior to this shot, but is so tiny due to FL. I thought the sky gave a very brooding feel to this courthouse.
