This is actually a heavy crop - the bars in the fence forced me to take the shot in portrait orientation. Then I cropped off over half the photo - mostly empty pasture.

I'm experimenting with Topaz B&W Effects 2 now on sale, and installed the demo version in Sagelight Image Editor. It seems like a nice tool.

Also, I just got in the mail today a new-to-me (and like-new quality) SMCP-F 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 lens. This is my first shot, of course converted to B&W in Topaz.

The Well Needs a New Paint Job

Reprocess of an old color photo using Topaz B&W Effects 2.


K100D Super, Super-Takumar 35mm f3.5, ISO400

I am enjoying using the Topaz software. The presets are nice, and the controls are easy to use. I decided to buy it while it is on sale.
