Took this while searching for my missing tripod foot from the DA* 60-250. then I conceded defeat and ordered a replacement.

Wow, those are great shots.

Great stuff here, as usual!
This was shot with a Panasonic TZ1 P&S, and converted to b/w & edited with digiKam. Taken at a beach in Oxnard, Calif. Those are the Channel Islands in the background.

thanks for the comments , indeed bushfires are a terrible thing specially the scale that we saw in the blue moutains.
