Tried some flower macro shots with flash in a dark area of the garden, colors didn't turn out very good, so i tried to convert to B&W

In this last one i tried to leave in a very slight hint of color, not sure it looks good

I actually like it better than the rest. Well done! I tend to find that processing a photo in a different way can often lead to exciting and more interesting results.

My 15 years old son is just learning the intricacies of photography, so we did a DOF experiment with the FA* 85/1.4 wide open. He actually appears to like the result.

It was a late afternoon stroll through the streets of downtown Victoria during my December 2014 holidays there. I could not help but notice the shadows of a bare deciduous tree on the left and an evergreen tree on the right falling eerily on the east wing of the BC Parliament Buildings. Thanks to the shadow of tree on the right falling on the building, my alliteration is complete: Building, Branches, and "Bats".
