Just Black and White-ur B/W Monochrome photos here

Today I thought I could do some black & white work. I endet up with development using light grey tones - a nearly high key approach.

The first image deals with good sharpness to emphasize the texture of the elephants skin.

The second image I commented as soft in the K-1 thread. But in this image the softness can support greatly the lions majestic expression and look. IMO this is a great example where sharpness isn't always most important. I'm very happy that I didn't discard this image because of softness!

Both pictures I shot at Tierpark Hellabrunn, Munich, raw developed in Capture One.

My niece's wedding, with K-3 II, FA 31.

Taughannock Falls (a few years ago, when there was actual water going over it), with K-5, Tamron 28-300.
