Indeed, great lighting and overall appeal on the chess set Matt!

I like vignetting, and often use a hood to get the effect intentionally...

A different perspective:

I was photographing an old brick building in downtown Edmonton when two ladies (drunk as skunks) approached me yelling "Happy Valentine's Day!". The one in this photo was carrying glasses and a bouquet and asked me to take her photo. I had my DA15mm lens on my K-5, so I had to get pretty close for the shot. As soon as I had snapped off a couple, she lurched at me, wished me Happy Valentines Day, attempted a hug and, to my surprise, *BIT* my left cheek. I was shocked and hurried back to the office (this happened during my lunch break) where I promptly washed my face, examined myself for cuts, and then used alcohol-based disinfectant on my face. The whole thing freaked me out quite a bit - especially those few minutes worrying if her teeth had broken the skin. Hepatitis is not a good thing to catch from an intravenous drug user - an activity I think wouldn't be above this friendly character.
