mate , I wouldn't even call me plastic man , I had the camera held in both hands but it was reseting on the marble I had to hold it so it don't fall , the camera that is ...

Could have used my special Tripod but one of the legs is longer than the other 2... the camera would have sat uneven ...

I just acquired an old Tamron SP 90mm 1:2.5 Adaptall-2 lens (52B), popped some extension tubes on it, and took it out back with a tripod to see just how well it lived up to its reputation as a sharp macro lens. This is a >1:1 macro of a partially depopulated dandelion. I'd say it's pretty darned good! I need to do a few more experiments with it (I'm expecting to get the matching F01 doubler soon) and I'll post a review of it.

One issue is that the 90mm length is not available on the K-r! So I set it to the closest value, which is 85mm...ugh. That's the K-r's problem though, not the lens'!
