Thanks guys! Yes, those eyes are magic. You can't help feeling vulnerable when they lock on you...

It's fun experimenting with monochrome conversions. I was trying for a coarse, gritty style, and also to get the green bush and yellow grass converted into brighter tones in order to make the lioness stand out more. Also put her mid frame to really get the focus on the eyes.

Thanks, the lens used this day was the 'K" SMC 20mm on my K-5.

Ha, I've pretty much dedicated my life to that proposition.

That's beautiful country, though a flyrod fisherman might have to put up with a stiff breeze at times coming down off those slopes.
