Triptyc Stills

<<Cross-posted from the Appreciate the K100D thread...>>

I've enjoyed reviewing this thread, which shows the K100D (and the other 6MP sensor based bodies) can still do fine work!

Here is a series of three photographs I took for use as wall decorations in our office at work (Chemistry department). For display, I had each of these three photographs printed on 18" x 24" frameless canvas and hung on the wall as you see here. Taken with my Pentax K100DS, Super-Takumar 35mm f2, Pentax AF280T flash bounced off a white board, ISO400, processed in Sagelight Image Editor + Topaz B&W Effects 2 (from RAW files).

This was a fun project.

-Joe-

P.S. I intended to use my H1A and Tri-X film to do this project, but decided to use the K100DS to test the lighting of my setup. I liked how the digital version came out so never got so far as to load film in the H1A!

Crossposted from the DA Limited lens club. Keeping to the "wet and cold" theme from Lars above...

No water in the picture but it sure was wet and cold that day... (and there was lots of wet, cold stuff near by, it's an old harbour crane)

shot on Fuji Provia 100F, B/W conversion in post

Nice! I like how all the clouds point toward the middle of the bridge.

Woha Joe! Sweet shot. I miss you in the single challenge this month.

We have a lot of mist at the moment which is nice for shooting during the daytime.
