Battle scarred hippo encountered on a walk along the Luangwa River, Zambia. I think the contrasty conversion helps in showing that a hippo's life isn't always peaceful.

yeah man thats a brilliant shot. checked ur flickr and it says shot with the helios but no other info available like focal length etc... was this with the 44-2?

Much appreciated! Yes it is the 44-2 58mm. I think I have a pretty good copy. Shipped from the Ukraine. Need to shoot with it a bit more I think. Such a unique rendering.
