Good question. Haven't really thought of that. I think you see the same on the lighter line above the black keys and also the gap in the wood top left. I guess the bokeh spreads out more than the "original" line bends the other way? Had there been no barrel distortion I would think the bokeh would have formed a straight line outwards.

Or I might be completely wrong
