Hey no enemy in sight here, any of those era cameras are good pieces of gear IMO. I still have one Olympus OM-1 left here although it is pretty neglected

Hello,

I missed in developping the film negative but the result IMHO seems interesting…

Cambodia, Leica Summicron-R 35/2 with Leica R6/R8, Tri-X @ ISO400, 2008. Digitalized with Pentax K-1.

My first was a Mamiya Sekor 500 TL, probably from the '60s?? It was a good start. Had I known more about lenses at the time I could have done a lot more with that camera (it was M42 mount). I wasn't aware of the all the lens options at the time (and I really didn't have the money either).

I dug out this and scanned it (from a print) taken with that camera in 1979 at Shiloh Military Park. I was probably just a couple years older than this kid at the time. And the film was good old Tri-X Pan!

Trying some dramatic processing with this one. A bit over the top, maybe?

I like it, really brings out the shapes of the tree branches and it has a certain mood to it. The only thing I might do is to crop off more of the black on the bottom.

Thanks, I might try that. I usually try to avoid square crops for trees, though. Or anything else where "tall" is part of the subject. Not that this is a very tall tree Besides, I could crop off more on the left as well and keep the 4x5 ratio.
