Ah ah, that is the first line of this book regarding the Spotmatic:
If you are into film SLRs I greatly recommend it, it has been very helpful developing my skills when you have to pay $2 or so for shot. It deals mostly with the Spotmatic F that I consider one of the Pentax ever, an almost perfect balance of functionality, quality and performance.
Now, if I am allowed to post a color picture, this is a 1976 Honeywell Spotmatic that I bought NOS, still in the box (with matching serial number), case, original eyecup, original ghostless filter, original Pentax hood...
Seen by its archenemy, a Fujika ST705W with Fujinon 50mm f1.4 on Portra 160...Interesting enough I don't have pictures in B&W taken with my SPFs because I mostly use the Takumar 1.8 and 1.4 on color as they deliver very saturated pictures, especially the radioactive 1.4.
