these two didn't look quite right in colour, but seemed to suit the B&W treatment....

Outstanding pictures in this page, everyone!

Half light, half darkness. In-camera JPEG, converted to BW in Corel Aftershot Pro 3 - using the third party plugin module "Bez" which is quickly becoming a favorite - very nice controls over the mid-tones.


Swinging Seat. Taken RAW, developed and converted to BW in RawTherapee using the T-Max 100 film emulation in HaldClut.


Both at f/1.2

after far too long I picked up my camera and enjoyed (rather than feeling I should take pictures) a day out on my bike looking for suitable subjects ,all except the last one have a famous landmark, Pendle Hill of witches fame, in the background.
