This is another natural B&W where colour had nothing to contribute - K-1 with 77Ltd

Originally done as colour with lots of foreground but I saw this crop later on and had to go back and do a black and white. The view towards Kinder Scout from Lyme Park.

Cherry Beach Lifeguard Station , GFX50R with GF50MMf3.5 shot in eterna and post in Silver Efex ,

Great composition Eddie, the snowy lead-in, the building, the pier, and the stairs to the bell tower - they all work together for a dynamic yet contemplative image.

I like that second one in particular David. It showed up on my screen with the bottom slightly cropped, which gave it a different feeling.

I don't know why this sort of picture appeals to me, but I suspect that it's some sort of subliminal story-telling element - the OOF person in the background is absolutely necessary to the composition, and B&W gives it that street feel that enhances that. K-1 plus 77Ltd
