I'm feeling an urge to let the colour back in, but here's one more for now

Great job

Since I wanted to focus completely on the pattern of the snow on and in between the roof tiles, I went with this hard contrast conversion based on the film noir 2 preset from NIK Silver Efex Pro 2. Removed some distracting things under the roof in GIMP

Roof, Snow, Wind
Done really well with that roof image. I had a look at the latest of GIMP just yesterday. Have been a avid user of it till I did a professional photography course. I like both the GIMP and PS. Gimp is very impressive and especially now with seamless raw image management with Darktable. In short I like your image.

Two shots using KP and M2.8/28 to test high ISO in conjuction with B&W conversion in Capture One Pro. First one made at 12.800, f/2.8, 1/30s, second one at 25.600, f/2.8, 1/128.

Inspired by a test video of Leica Q2 using B&W conversion vs. Leica Q2 monochrome. Taking the comparisons of the video into account a KP monochrome would be breathtaking for high ISO B&W photography I guess. At least I'd think about buying a Pentax KP monochrome if it'd exist. Such a niche product much cheaper than the Leica offerings could attract a lot of "other-brand-users" like the Ricoh GR III does. It's allowed to dream - isn't it?
